The group going to the Crown Uptown theater in Wichita to see “Sweeny Todd” included Jackie Hett, Carolyn Woerz, Maxine Barton, Bettie Batt, Joyce Jackson, Mary Costello, Betty Crumrine, Marie Hoffner, and Shirley Moore.
Several birthdays were celebrated recently at Marion Senior Center, including Val Morgan, Jim Osborn, and Norine Holtsclaw.
Robin Nelson brought flowers from her yard to the senior center.
Gayla Ratzlaff, Nellie Schmidt, Judy Mellott, and Janet Bryant went to Hesston on Sept. 24 for a seminar about senior centers. Sedgwick, Harvey, and Butler counties provided the event.
Wanda Hamm, Elsie Reiswig, Evelyn Jewett, Jane Makovec, Norma Woerz, Al and Gloria Ash, Nora Richter, and Shirley Moore worked on newsletters Sept. 25.
Ron and Connie Shipman will present a musical program Oct. 10.
