Many from Marion attended the Marion County Senior Citizens Inc. annual meeting Oct. 18 in Hillsboro. Veterans of World War II and the Korean War were honored.
Jackie Hett reported a telephone scam targeted at senior citizens.
Marion Senior Center patrons celebrated two birthdays on Oct. 23. Elsie Reiswig and Marlene Bernhardt brought treats.
On Oct. 24, Jill Moore of Schowalter Villa in Hesston gave the program, “Sharpening the Mind.” She was accompanied by Diane Yoder. Afterward, everyone played a game using foam sticks and a balloon.
Jeff Reynolds, occupational therapist at St. Luke Hospital, will give the program Nov. 7.
