The center had a number of strange looking visitors for Halloween. Barb Bitner came as Pebbles of the Flintstones, Dorothy Conyers delivered meals as a witch complete with a big nose and teeth, and Sue Clough came as a baseball player with her bat and ball. Residents of Hilltop Manor joined the center for Halloween. There was a parade after singing pumpkin carols. Shirley Bowers was the accompanist.

On Oct. 25, we celebrated National Fork Day with the history of the fork and a special song.

Oct. 29 was Bob Peterson’s birthday. He provided the cake mix for Mary Hett to bake a couple cakes for him. Bob didn’t come in but the birthday cake was eaten anyway.

Jeremiah Lange will talk about the trip to Haiti he took with his parishioners at Marion Presbyterian Church on Nov. 14.

Patrons will celebrate Mickey Mouse’s birthday on Nov. 18.
