An anonymous benefactor provided ice cream for the Jan. 10 birthday celebrations of Norma Kline and Thelma Blosser.

Clayton Hamm and Larry Blosser went to Council Grove on Jan. 13 to pick up government commodities. A forklift was not available so the drivers formed a line and manually loaded the boxes. Volunteers who helped bag the groceries included Shirley Moore, Caleb Abbott, Sue Clough, Val Morgan, Jon Thole, and Jerry Kline.

Sue Clough conducted the business meeting Jan. 16 for Senior Center Day. St. Luke Hospital CEO Jeremy Armstrong presented the program.

Marion chiropractor Lane Smith will present a program Jan. 30 at the senior center.
