The month of February ended with the celebration of cook Barb Bitner’s 60th birthday. She wanted to provide 60 meals on that day, including meals on wheels. To help her reach that goal, Fred Puttroff took two meals home.

Jean Pierce brought photos of movie stars that were once handed out at movie theaters. People were invited to choose one from the display if they wished.

On March 3, the center welcomed the Lunch Bunch, whose numbers keep growing. They come in for coffee, eat lunch, and visit in the afternoon.

Rhonda Brenzikofer celebrated her birthday on March 4. She brought brownies, ice cream, and chocolate syrup for everyone.

The center encourages everyone to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day.

Senior Center Day will be March 18 and all seniors are invited to join us. There will be a program after lunch.

The center has a new shipment of greeting cards. Card sales provide funds for the volunteer recognition in April.
