Patrons of the Marion Senior Center played pitch and hand and foot on Sept. 24.
The Kansas Food Bank truck gave away food on Sept. 19. It brought potatoes, bread, and pastries to the senior center. Gene Winkler organized the food giveaway.
Reservations are being taken for the county annual meeting on Oct. 17. Meal tickets or cash are not accepted that day. Reservations are $5.
Harold Triggs celebrated his birthday with patrons Sept. 23 by providing cookies.

A number of Marion County senior citizens attended the Sunflower Fair in Salina on Sept. 24. Dee Duggan of Tampa was the county’s Sensational Sunflower.
Residents of Hilltop Manor attended lunch Sept. 25. The program was give by Grace Yoder who told of her memorable trip to the Ukraine.
On Oct. 9 local wire sculptor Belinda Skiles, who specializes in horse figures, will give program.
