Patrons of Marion Senior Center celebrated Valentine’s Day by wearing red, using place mats made by Happy Hustlers 4-H members, and participating in a quiz of romantic movie quotes.
Jerry Higgins birthday was celebrated Feb. 17 with cake brought by his wife, Norma. His birthday was on Valentine’s Day.
Virginia Downing shared Valentine’s cookies Feb. 18 to celebrate her birthday. Patrons called St. Luke Living Center to sing happy birthday to Ivanlee Timm.
Senior Center day was Feb. 19. Sue Clough conducted the business meeting and explained how her experience boxing commodities helped stuff convention bags during her recent trip to St. Louis. Program was songs performed by Gerry Henderson and Keith Allison.
Opera singer and missionary Sara Claassen will give a program March 5.
