Martin wins scholarship

Cara Noel Martin, a 2013 graduate of Marion High School, has won a $1,000 scholarship from Inter-Tribal Council of AT&T employees.

A freshman at Haskell Indian Nations University, she is majoring in elementary education with an emphasis in special education. She is a member of the Muskogee Creek nation.

Her parents are Melissa and Matt Zieammermann of rural Marion.
