For the second year in a row, Adam Matz from Lincolnville has been named as a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics scholar-athlete.
Matz, son of Steve and Janet Matz, is among 17 student athletes from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference to earn the honor. He qualified by earning a grade-point average of at least 3.5 while playing baseball at Kansas Wesleyan University.
He graduated cum laude in May with degrees in computer information systems and computer science.
He is working at Twin Oaks Industries in Salina as a web designer.
