Max Arndt, 70, died Friday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

He was born Oct. 7, 1943 to Harry and Ora (Callison) Arndt in Cheney. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas.

Survivors include sons Dennis, of Wichita, and Daren, of Hillsboro; brothers Melvin, Marvin, Larry; two sisters, Martha, and Mary Lou; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be private. Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro, is in charge of arrangements.
