Koegeboehn injured
Last Friday while Will Koegeboehn was running a mowing machine 12 miles east of town he was very badly injured by a team that came up from behind and ran over him. One of the boys was following him with another mower and left his team to pick up something that had been dropped. While he was off the machine, the horses became frightened and ran right over the machine in front. Mr. Koegeboehn was badly cut and several bones were broken. Dr. Smith hurried out in his car and brought the unfortunate man into the hospital. At this writing, he is improving slowly but it will be some time before he will be able to get out.

The commissioners have given the Evans Electric Co. the contract to put electric light fixtures into the court house. The wires were put in when the building was constructed. The contract includes lights for the dials for the big tower clock. You can’t blame Justus Evans for feeling a little proud of this contract for he won out in competition with Topeka and Kansas City firms.
