Dr. C.C. Jones was in Abilene yesterday arranging for the placing of a number of children in homes there. A party of children will be brought there by the New York Children’s Aid Society.

Chris Christensen had quite a serious accident last week while they were shelling corn. He got his hand caught in the sheller. The little finger on his right hand was broken and the hand bruised up considerably.
We have recently learned of the birth of a little daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnston of Fay, Oklahoma. Mrs. Johnston was formerly Miss Martha Johnston of Gale township.

The Lindsborg people are making great preparations for the annual Messiah Festival, March 31 to April 7. For 30 consecutive years, the singing of the “Messiah” has been an annual event in this music-loving community. With the conclusion of this season, the “Messiah” will have been rendered at Lindsborg 84 times.
