An edition is being built onto the rear of the Wonderland moving picture house, and other improvements are being made.
It was almost a shame for Marion to rub it in so strong. At the Fourth District High School track meet at Emporia last Saturday, the Marion team put all the other teams away back in the “also ran” class. The final count showed Marion with 61 points, the nearest competition being Scranton with 19 points.

Miss Effie Farmer, who with a party of friends was taking a ride on a motor hand-car belonging to out of town parties last Sunday, jumped from the car and suffered a broken limb and otherwise is badly bruised. Something got the matter with the car and she jumped and was struck by the car. She is getting along as well as could be expected and no permanent injury is anticipated.
