The City Commission has passed an ordinance forbidding bicycle riding on the sidewalk of any paved street and on the sidewalk up and down the hill from the Presbyterian church to Main Street.

The young men of the Baptist church are making some more improvements in their rooms in the basement of the church. They are putting in a forty-five foot bowling alley. The members of the young men’s class will be divided into squads and a tournament will be played.

Otto Schmersey returned yesterday from the Montana land drawing. He says he had a great trip and returned with his pockets bulging with—$1.39.

Ronald Good had his arm broken by a kicking engine while trying to crank an auto Monday morning.

E.W. Hoch will deliver the opening address at Kansas State University tomorrow.

The Christian ladies’ aid society will hold a food exchange next Saturday in the Williams meat market. A good place to get supplies for Sunday.
