The Commissioners have ordered in some more pavement, and the work will be done right away. The block on Third street north from Main, to connect with the Santa Fe street paving will be put in. Also the two blocks on Walnut street, north to the Schoneman corner. This will complete the pavement to the Rock Island station. The Santa Fe right-of-way on Third street and also on First street—north of the Rogers bridge—has been ordered in. On Third street, at the Santa Fe station, it is already in on the north side of the track. It will be put in on the south side of the track there.

A.E. Case makes another fine suggestion. He suggests that some room in the town be provided—like the Commercial Club rooms, for instance—for hanging pictures of the pioneers of the town. And this suggestion of another collection of pictures of local pioneers is an equally good one.
