Marion voted on Tuesday for the issuance of bonds to erect a new high school building and to repair the old building. Marion will be proud of this new addition to the town and the cost will come back to the benefit of the town in many ways.

Drs. Goodsheller and Smith have given their x-ray machine to the high School. It is a large machine and will be a valuable addition to the physics equipment. The doctors have purchased a machine of the latest model for their office.

Mr. J.C. McIntosh has sold his interest in the McIntosh & Beaston meat market to Mr. Harry Beaston, who will conduct the business at the same place and in the same efficient manner in which it has been conducted.

The upstairs rooms in the building recently purchased by Mr. Powers and Mr. Phillips from Fred Ferm are being refitted and will be occupied by a tea room, conducted by Mrs. S. C. Love.

C.C. Johnson is putting in a new front to the building occupied by Stout Motor Co. The front will be of brick, with large modern glass. Improvements are being made inside the building, also, to take care of the large and growing business.
