A number of street lights are out of commission owing to the inability to get bulbs. The bulbs which are of a special type have been ordered for two months and it is hoped will be here soon.

William Kellett had the misfortune to break his right arm while cranking a Ford last Saturday.

There is on display in the window at Sheldon’s Jewelry 25 silver trophy cups won in the last few years by Marion High School. We doubt if there is another high school the size of Marion in the state that can make as fine a showing in this line.

Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Walker are getting ready to move to El Dorado. Mr. Walker will help run the El Dorado store of Walker Bros., and Ralph Bryan will continue as manager of the store here.

The Anti-Saloon League is conducting a campaign called the “Final Drive for National Prohibition.” Dr. Madison Swadener will be in Marion the night of June 6th for an address on that subject.
