HRK Warehouse re-opened this past Friday after being closed for less than three months following a fire August 25 that gutted the building. Jim and Bernice Beach say they are happy to be serving customers once again.

Theodora Koslowsky has retired after more than 32 years as office manager for Riddle Quarries and subsequent operators of the local quarry.

The annual Marion Chamber of Commerce farm-city steak fry is planned for 6 p.m. Monday at Marion Municipal Building. All area farmers and ranchers are welcome to attend.

Those displaying Christmas lights in Marion will receive a $10 credit on their electric bill, city commissioners said Monday at their regular weekly meeting.

Marion REC is taking reservations for a March 19-23 spring break ski trip to Loveland, Colo. Costs vary according to age and include two nights lodging, ski rental, lift tickets, and sleeper bus.
