Members of Marion Chamber of Commerce and City of Marion officials gathered Friday to welcome Auto House Towing and Recovery to Marion at a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house.

The fall Marion High School cheerleaders are EmmaLee Hett, Heather Fine, Mikaela Fredrickson, Taylor Harms, Ashley Buckner, and Lindsey Maytum.

Outstanding employee of the quarter at St. Luke Hospital and Living Center is Becky Hulett, technician in the Physical Therapy Department.

Students, grades kindergarten through sixth, who exemplified being responsible, respectful and doing their best during September are Matthew Christensen, Dante Snyder, Macy Sigel, Emmy Hess, Mackenzie Gormley, Emma Box, Bethany Grimmett, Jacob Peterson, Tristan Williams, Logan Waner, Shyla Harris, Tori Smith, Emily Schneider, Lindsey Sigel, and Marissa Jacobson.

Alumni, spouses, and teachers of the former Waldeck School gathered Oct. 2 at Lehigh to reminisce. The school, located about three miles northwest of Lehigh, was in operation from 1889 through the 1955-56 session.
