Widow Harding has a new home nearly completed on the hill.
Lawyer L.F. Keller’s fine new residence towers majestically.
Attorney R. L. King has adorned his home with a neat new porch.
Mr. J.C. Good is “at home” in his new residence on Cedar street.
Mr. C.N. Whittaker is erecting a pretty residence on Third street.
Mother Doster’s new home on Lincoln Avenue approaches completion.
Mr. A.A. Andrews is erecting a neat residence in W.H. Billings’ addition.
Mr. M.S. Bryan has moved into his neat new house in Freeborn’s addition.
Mr. J.F. Cherington is preparing to erect the finest residence in Beebe’s addition.

The past week has been one of unprecedented warmth, for this season of the year. The thermometer has registered more than a hundred in the shade. The nights, however, have been remarkably pleasant, enabling exhausted humanity to enjoy plenty of delightful and recuperative sleep.
Some people complain of the high prices asked for town property in Marion. Low prices are the poorest advertisements any town can have. Property is none too high here, and the fellow who sits down to wait until it gets lower before he invests, will need more patience than Job possessed.
