A little daughter of Essic Williamson, aged about 3 years, living northeast of Marion Centre, came very near dying by strangulation several days ago, having swallowed a nut from a small iron bolt.

Parents cannot be too careful. Not long since, a little child was buried in Marion Centre whose death was occasioned by swallowing a sewing machine needle.
