Marion City Council approved a conditional use permit Friday to allow Auto House Towing and Recovery of Galva to open a business at Marion Business Park.

Marion High School wrestler Dillon Wildin (12-0) is undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the state in the 104-pound Class 1-3A weight class.

Kingfisher Steakhouse & Lounge has been unoccupied for more than a year. It will be auctioned Jan. 14 in a sheriff’s sale because of mortgage foreclosure.

The four-man bowling team of Willard Glasgow of Hillsboro, Wilbert Backhus of Tampa, and Kenny Rindt and Jim Wyatt, both of Marion, were notified Dec. 20 that they had won the 28th annual Kansas State Senior Open Handicap Bowling Tournament played in October at Royal Crest Lanes in Lawrence.
