Eastmoor United Methodist Church will present a re-enactment of Leonardo DaVinci’s painting “The Last Supper” during Maundy Thursday services at the church.

Pupils at Marion Elementary School named as March students of the month are Ashden Alcorn, Annie Baliel, Ryan Bradford, Emma Calhoun, Emily Hague, Brianna Nguyen, Derrick Ratzloff, McKenzee Remmers, Seth Savage, Eli Smith, Cameron Steward, Corbin Wheeler, McKenna White, Betsy Williams, Courtney Williams, and Jacob Whitwell.

Winners were chosen by the faculty because they were responsible, respectful, and did their best.

Lori Garrett is outstanding employee for the second quarter of 2009at St. Luke Hospital. Lori has been an RN at the hospital for seven years. This year, she has been busy preparing a new cardiac rehabilitation program.

Marion High School golf coach Tod Gordon has named his starting varsity golfers. They are exchange student Niklas Bronnert, Tim Costello, Luke Gordon, Lindsay Hett, Landon Leiker, and Scott Jones. Nipping at their heels are Ryan Jones, Adam Molleker, and Jordan Versch.
