The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Edson Childs will be celebrated Dec. 28 at an open house in the Marion Senior Center.
The Lady Warriors were winless last week while hosting the first Marion girls’ basketball tournament. However, Lady
Warrior Kristi Enos was named to the All Tournament Team and freshman Brenda Bina won the free-throw contest hitting 51 or 79.
Mike Stewart of Marion and Stacey Liles of Hillsboro will join the Kansas State University’s choir in its fifth tour to Europe. The students will perform in Montreux, Vevey, St. Moritz, and Lucerne in Switzerland and in Lugano, Italy.
