Senate Minority Leaders Jerry Karr and 70th District Rep. Duane Goossen attended a legislative “coffee” in Marion Saturday and are pictured on the front page along with Ed Costello who introduced them at the Marion Chamber of Commerce-sponsored meeting.
Florence Middle School students rode “The Convincer,” a trailer-mounted slide which simulates a 15 mile-per-hour auto crash, during Issues and Answers Day held Friday at the school.
Leadership Marion County class of 1992 took a field trip to Topeka Feb. 19 to learn more about state government. Pictured as they visited Gov.
