A winter storm Saturday dumped several inches of snow on much of Kansas. Christmas decorations in Central Park and downtown glowed through a peaceful, thick blanket of snow.

Second grader Jamie Bernhardt is pictured as a narrator Friday for the segment, “The Little Bell That Could Not Ring,” during Marion Elementary School’s annual Christmas program. Other narrators were Joanna McGinness, Freddie Parker, and Michael Yates.
