Another family practice physician has signed to join the staff of St. Luke Hospital. Kim Hall will begin her practice at St. Luke Medical Clinic in April 1996. She is completing a residency program at Smoky Hills Family Practice in Salina.

Idaho State University junior John Wheeler is featured in the ISU football media guide this season. Wheeler is a 6-foot-4, 255-pound defensive guard and lettered his first two years.

Retired bricklayer Charles Cowan, who helped do brick work for two well-known spots in town, Eastmoor United Methodist Church and Marion Elementary School, is subject of Amy Pagenkopf’s weekly series, “They made a difference.”

Traci Darrow and Gabe Higgins have returned from a three-week visit to Berlin, Germany, where they were guests of Kai Langnickel, who was a part of a German exchange program that visited Marion in recent years.

Brian Bina is the winner of a football autographed by Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders. Brian’s mother, Harriet Bina, purchased the winning chance during a Shrine fund-raising effort.
