Roads and residences in rural Marion County soon will have names and addresses.
The addressing is happening because the county expects to have enhanced 911 emergency telephone services around September, 1995.
The enhanced service uses computers to tell 911 dispatchers where emergency calls come from. Addresses are needed for all rural properties.
