County commissioners have instructed County Attorney Keith Collett to draw up an ordinance that would eliminate adult entertainment establishments, including a tavern in Burns that reportedly features topless dancers.

Dorothy Conyers retired Thursday after 24 years of service as a secretary in the Social and Rehabilitation Services office.

The annual Christmas lighting ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Central Park. The public is being encouraged to join in the traditional ceremony of Christmas cheer.
