Marion County Hospital District No. 1 board of directors and St. Luke Hospital staff members are pictured as they tour a former priest’s residence on the hospital grounds. The home has been remodeled for use by Marion County Home Care.

Laura Hanes has been named student of the month by the Marion High School faculty. Upon graduation this spring, Laura plans to attend college and major in business.

Physician Kim Hall and her husband have purchased a home site and are looking forward to making Marion their permanent residence in 1996.

Marion Chamber of Commerce ambassadors Stan Hett, Sally Hannaford, and Mike Classen present a welcome plaque to Tena Reid of Heartland Café, 1204 E. Main St., in Marion. The restaurant serves a range of homemade meals for dine-in or carry-out.

Florence Middle School students receive incentive awards based on academics, attendance, and other factors. Those selected in recent weeks are Maria Voelker, Bailey Skiles, Lisa Buchholz, Starla Riggs, Lacy May, and Marie Konarik.
