One of the men arrested in connection with the April 19 bombing in Oklahoma City worked in Marion County this past year

Terry Nichols, who turned himself in to law officers at his home in Herington, spent several months as a farmhand at Hayhook Ranch, owned by Jim Donahue.

Marion County commissioners gave formal approval Monday to the enhanced 911 rural addressing system. North-south roads are named while roads running east and west are numbered.

Jason Goodin, a junior, has been selected student of the month at Marion High School. His parents are Kathy Gooding of Marion and John Goodin of McPherson.
