Marion police officers conducted a driver’s license check Sunday afternoon at the Luta Creek Bridge on Main Street. The check lane was operated for about an hour and 10 warning tickets and four citations were issued. The warnings were to people who had licenses but did not have them with them at the time. Two underage drivers and one adult driver were charged with having no license. And one driver was cited for operating a vehicle with an expired tag.
