Feebie Holdeman and her son, Nathan Smith, are pictured during ribbon-cutting ceremonies Friday morning at their new downtown offices for Marion Shelter Insurance. Others on hand for the ceremony were Chamber of Commerce president Larry Loomis, chamber executive secretary Marsha Ames, Mayor Peggy Blackman, and state and regional managers of Shelter Insurance, Bob Solon and Marilyn Robb.

Art Holmes of Marion will get a chance to tell central Kansas television viewers about his wooden car factory next week. Holmes said a reporter from KTVH, Wichita-Hutchinson, caught wind of his work through an article in the Dec. 1 Marion County Record.

The South Hutchinson United Methodist Church was the setting Nov. 13 for the wedding of Carol Diane Gill and Randal Boyd Vogel.
