Dear Santa, I am six years old. I would like a puppy, a kitten, and a Barbie Dream house and I’ll have sugar for the reindeer and fruit and milk for you. Love, Ashley Loomis. P.s. Say hi to Rudolph and Mrs. Santa. Please bring Brian a train.

Uniformed officers will be present at Marion Gymnasium at all future basketball games. Thursday night, when Marion girls hosted Solomon, several incidents were reported. There were fist fights, visiting buses were harassed, and Marion fans created disturbances which were said to be in bad taste and poor public relations for the community.

Dr. Don Hodson, Argonia, has expressed tentative plans to set up practice in Marion this summer. Hodson will complete three years of medical residency in Wichita this June. St. Luke Hospital administrator Ron Cork said Dr. Hodson will probably locate his practice at St. Luke Clinic.
