Pictured abandoned in water in the under-construction Marion floodway is a mired bulldozer. Someone had taken it for a short joyride that bottomed out in the flood control channel west of the old Pilsen Rd. Stannard Construction Co. of Wichita estimates that the bulldozer, worth $37,000, will have to be completely rebuilt.
Jeanne Keazer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Keazer, received a master’s degree in social work May 21 at commencement exercises at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
