The board of Hospital District No. 1, which owns St. Luke Hospital, discussed plans at their regular monthly meeting Thursday night to add a physician clinic.

Earl G. Bartel Homes Moving of Hillsboro moved a two-story frame home from the north side of US-56 several years ago to the south side and now is moving it back to the north side to make room for building Lynn’s Farm Equipment on that location on the west edge of Marion.

John Dyck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dyck of rural Marion and a 1980 graduate of Marion High School, has been accepted as a cadet at the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado. He will begin his studies June 23 as a member of the class of 1984.
