A. Volz, construction foreman on the new Evangelical United Brethren Church being built in Marion, was featured speaker Monday at the regular noon meeting of Marion Kiwanis Club.
Rex Siebert, Marion cattleman, was selected as “outstanding exhibitor” at the annual Hereford Range Sale in Dodge City sponsored by the Kansas Hereford Association.
Dale R. Martin, formerly of Oberlin, has purchased the Marion Bakery from Dave Greenemeyer.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Laubhan announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Kay Youk, to Gerald Dean Kelsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kelsey. A June wedding is being planned.
