A novel addition to Marion’s most widely known attraction, its beautiful Central Park, is an attractive native stone and cement structure built to simulate an old-time dug well. This replica of a well is carried out with a gable roof and authentic old well wheel, bucket, and rope. The new addition is the result of a project of Coterie Club members, who purchased the refrigeration unit and other incidental equipment. Building was done by husbands and by members of the Chamber of Commerce.
