Herbert, Superintendent Viola Jost, Treasurer Lenora Klose, who holds office until October, Treasurer-elect Kathryn Schimpf, Clerk of the District Court Geraldine Seibel, Register of Deeds Alma Wiebe, County Clerk Fred Allen, Sheriff Ezra Bernhardt, Probate Judge Henry Loveless, and County Attorney Dean C. Batt.

Alex Case Jr. has been appointed and has accepted the job as secretary of the Marion Chamber of Commerce. He takes over from Rev. Melvin Warkentin who has served for the past year. Homer Stenzel was re-appointed as treasurer of the organization.

Charles “Pete” Campbell was renamed superintendent of Marion public schools at a meeting of the board of education Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Frick of Tampa announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Ann, to David Frantz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert B. Frantz, also of Tampa. No definite wedding plans have been made.

Mr. and Mrs. K.C. Widler were honored with an open house at their home Sunday honoring their 25th wedding anniversary. Approximately 120 friends and relatives called to congratulate the couple.
