Over 320 farmers and businessmen enjoyed a meal and patriotic program Tuesday night at the annual Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Farm-City dinner. Local businessmen pictured as they prepared big steaks for the meal are Don Spangler, Les Griffith, Dwight Adams, and John Just.

Debra Link, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Link, celebrated her 10th birthday Nov. 8 with a party at her home. Those present included Linda Noll of Florence, Becky Wood, Teresa Case, Karen Pankratz, Cathy Newlin, Lisa Holmes, Dottie, Lentz and Joanne Marie Mueller.

Dennis E. Navrat of Wichita, formerly of Marion, will be presented in a one man art show in the Tabor College Student Center Nov. 13-27. At the present time, Navrat is art instructor at the Wichita Institute of Logopedics.

Following several nights of dense fog, our short sleeve weather came to an abrupt end Monday. The hardest frost of the fall occurred Tuesday morning.

Marion students who will be taking part in the American College Testing (ACT) program Saturday at Tabor College are Judy Pankratz, George Jackson, Linda Amick, Norman Bowers, Mary Schimpf, Dean Jost, Wallace Slusser, Dave Goertz, Ruth Johnson, Cheri Bell, LaVonda Hett, Ladd Siebert, Mary Westerhaus, Dennis Conyers, and Darold Longhofer.
