A big, red fire truck, bright and gleaming with chrome, was stolen Tuesday night from its garage in Walton. The fire truck sat in Lynn’s Truck and Tractor sales lot in Marion all day Wednesday and was not discovered until Thursday morning.

It is thought that THE truck was taken by a thief who abandoned a car that had been stolen earlier that day in Wichita.
