The Marion County Elementary Music Festival, participated in by the smaller grade schools of the county and co-sponsored by the Tabor College Music Department, was held Friday evening. Due to unification of many of the schools, this will be the final festival.
Viola Jost was given a surprise honor when Sister M. Catherine of Pilsen, representing teachers of the participating schools, presented her with a corsage in recognition of her years of effort with the elementary music students of the county.
