Tentative floor plans for the Marion Community Hospital have been received from the architects and are being studied thoroughly from every angle, it is announced this week. Final approval of the plans are expected in the near future.

Robert R. Brooks of Madison will take over his new duties Monday as cashier of the Farmers and Drovers National Bank, according to L.L. Hadsell, president. He takes the place of Ross Haney who resigned recently.

The congregation of the Florence Methodist church last week voted to rebuild their church, which was almost completely consumed by fire last October.

Charles Davis, who has been band and music director in the Marion High School for the past two years, has accepted a position as music director in the Augusta High School for the coming school year.

The 1950 Spring Show will begin tonight, Thursday. Staged at considerable effort and expense by the merchants of Marion, this annual “Merchandise and Tractor Show” offers two days and evenings of free enjoyment and entertainment to the public.
