The Santa Fe says it will continue to operate the “Doodlebug” at least until May 15. It is hoped some other means can be supplied by then for mail service between McPherson and Florence.
A move is underway to organize a Better Sportsmen’s Club in this locality, with the hope of making it into a county organization. Principal aims of the group will be to promote wildlife conservation to work toward restocking Marion County areas with game and to build a friendly association among the county’s sportsmen.

Max and John Hayen of the Youngtown community found a Radiosonde that had been released at Dodge City in January. The Radiosondes broadcast weather conditions and are tagged with instructions asking that they be returned.
