The staff of St. Luke Hospital has been formally organized and officers elected. Dr. G.J. Goodsheller was elected president. Elected as vice president was Dr. R.R. Melton with Dr. Charles Magee as secretary-treasurer. Dr. Melton was named head of the x-ray department and Dr. T.C. Ensey as head of the laboratory.

Darlene Melcher was chosen by the football squad as their queen to reign over Friday night’s homecoming game, dance, and other festivities. Her attendants were Nila Hoopes and Joan Kline.

A group of young people from the Christian Church and their sponsors went to McPherson Sunday afternoon to attend a zone rally. Those going included Paul Roberts, Marion Summervill, Larry Dieter, Wayne Thies, Lenore Wheeler, Phyllis Thies, Nancy Allen, Norma Sly, Donna Miesse, Mrs. Bill Slusser, and Rev. and Mrs. Fanestil.

Central Avenue Methodist Church in Kansas City, Kansas, was the scene Nov. 15 of the wedding of Carolyn Hoffman, daughter of Richard Hoffman of Kansas City, Kansas to A/1c Warren D. Woerz, son of Mr and Mrs. Adolph Woerz, Marion.

MHS musical students Pat and Dwight Kruse, Howard Stenzel, Carol Krispense and Laverne Hoffman attend Youth Symphony rehearsals every other Saturday in Emporia. John Childs in enrolled in the senior youth symphony at Wichita.
