In the past month, two displaced Catholic priests, Fathers Francis Jeresa and Joseph Kapus, from Yugoslavia, fled from their country after being sentenced to death by communists. They have arrived in Kansas to make their new homes and to become members of the Wichita diocese. Now, after a short time visiting at Pilsen, Father Jeresa has taken up the work as spiritual director of St. Joseph’s orphanage in El Dorado and Father Kapus is assistant to Father Goracy at St. John’s, Pilsen.
