Marion Creamery Co. has bought the complete plant, real estate, equipment, and business of Brose Brothers cold storage locker plant. Extensive renovation and repair is planned. Not included in the transaction was the Brose wholesale beer franchise and truck equipment.

Burial services will be Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home for Private Robert W. Haas, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Haas, who was killed Oct. 4, 1944, in a mopping-up action on Anguar, an island in the Palau group.

Marion Equipment Co. Inc., dealer for International Harvester Co., has been sold to brothers A.C., Erwin, and Victor Lewerenz, of Lincolnville, who will take over the dealership Nov. 1.

Marion Civic Theatre, a group of local people with acting and play productions on their minds and cultural improvement of the town as a goal, had its first meeting Thursday evening in the City Building basement.

Among new car deliveries at the Paul Seifert Motor Co. are a new Chevrolet Fleetmaster four-door sedan to Edward Good and a new Buick Super Sedanette to Reinhardt Steinle.

The M Club, composed of four senior lettermen and six junior lettermen, elected these officers Thursday: Don Fruechting, president; Kerns Allen, vice president; and Leslie Powell Jr., secretary-treasurer. Mr. Ireland is their sponsor.
