Marion’s big annual Spring Show will be March 30 and 31. The popular, two-day Chamber of Commerce event will include elaborate merchandise displays, a style show and revue, and other entertainment.

Donald Lee and Douglas James Patry, twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Patry of south of Florence, were the first multiple births recorded in Marion County in 1949. The babies were born Feb. 4 at Bethesda Hospital, Goessel.

Harold Keazer, manager of the local Clark’s Firestone store, received word this week from the Postal Department in Washington that his name had been certified as the new postmaster for Marion.

An outstanding speaker, the Right Honorable Alexander Watson, AFC, prominent Englishman, promises to be very entertaining when he provides the program at the annual Chamber of Commerce Ladies Night banquet Thursday evening.

Tickets go on sale today for the Civic Theatre production of “You Can’t Take It with You” to be presented Feb. 21 and 22 in Marion.
