Celebration planned

Valley United Methodist Church will observe its 150th anniversary Old Settlers Day weekend with an open house 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 and a special service at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 29.

District superintendent Dennis Livingston will speak, a community choir will perform, and a video of comments from members will be shared.

Afterward, members and friends will have a reservation-only catered lunch. Reservations are being accepted through today.
