Music festival is Sunday near Hillsboro

Those who attend the annual outdoor Songs on the Lawn mini-music festival Sunday at WillowSpring Downs in rural Hillsboro will have a day of music and food.

Six local music groups including The Bethesda Band, Book of JEBB, Five Times Harder, Country Jamboree, and Cottonwood River Band will play from 5 to 8 p.m.

A hamburger and hotdog dinner, kettle corn, and ice cream from Salted Creamery will be available.

Guests are asked to bring table service, lawn chairs, and blankets.

WillowSpring Downs is located at 1582 Falcon Rd., rural Hillsboro. In case of rain, the event will be held at Goessel Elementary School.
